Early Literacy Fun: Alphabet Find in the Sand Box

How can you make learning fun for your child? In the sandbox! Have some early literacy fun with alphabet find in the sand box.  Bury plastic letters of the alphabet and have your child dig them up and tell you what letter they found.  It’s a great way for them to learn and fun for parents and children.

The foundation is laid for later learning during early childhood. Children need to be in high-quality child care and preschool settings that nurture all aspects of development, including brain development.

Being ready-to-learn with essential pre-literacy and pre-math skills is critical when children start kindergarten.  With these skills, they are less likely to fall behind as their work becomes more challenging.

Take a look at these activities that were created to enhance early literacy.
